John Pohl

John R. Pohl, a resident of Whitefish, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away after injuries sustained in a traffic accident on Aug. 9, 2006, near Dixon.

John was born May 5, 1976, in Dayton, Ohio. He was a 1995 graduate of Oakwood High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Vermont.

He is survived by his parents Carol and Rich Pohl, of Dayton; his sister Sharon Walsh, husband Ben and their daughters Lucy, Sally, Margot, Annie and Rosie, of Chicago; and her sister Sarah Pohl and her fiance Ethan Smith, of Missoula.

A memorial service was held Aug. 14, 2006, at the Christ United Methodist Church, in Kettering, Ohio.
