Arts in April thanks

Spring is always an exciting time at school, but our Arts in April Program makes it just a little more exciting at Muldown.

Because we had so much community support, students in second, third, and fourth grade were able to choose from one of 29 art sectionals to attend for four weeks.

The PTA provided most of the financing, and the following artists provided their time and talent: Titiana Zolotareff, Nancy Williams, Cari Wick, Joanie Sorenson, Danna Schultz, Jackie McGregor, Carol Stern, Heidi Haugen, Tom Gilfilan, Bernadette Watts, Dan Olsen, Larry LaRoque, Amy Mohn, Lillian Judge, Salley Allen, Gary Weller, Linda Coco, Ms Leigh Ann, Ms. Erica and Mandy McFaden of Whitefish Dance, Billie Jean Howke, Jill Courtney, Shelby Powell, Jennifer Truscheit, Jane Kleilnschmidt, and Souheir of Stumptown Art Studio, Stephanie Kenkel of Whitefish Yoga, Rebecca Nelson, Janie Bionaz and Patrick Whitaker of North Valley School of Music, Danielle Packard, Jeff and Janie Green and Sue Anne Grogan.

Without the dedicated artists and the financial assistance this enriching opportunity would not be possible. The program concluded with the students sharing their new learned talents at an assembly on May 6.
