My name is Kaci Guthrie.

Three weeks ago my daughters were involved in a car accident in Ferndale. I would like to say thank you to everyone that stopped to help my girls.

I would like to start with the locals in Ferndale, The nice lady that put her coat around me because I rushed out the door to get to my girls, the nice men who put their coats on my daughter laying in the ditch.

Thank you to the fire department, the QRU, Eda Reid for as usual going above and beyond and drove me to the hospital. Also, thanks to Alert, the Kalispell hospital staff, and the sheriff's department.

A week and a half later when there was a fire close to my house due to a power line, the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department responded.

Thank you Lee and Bernice Rost for calling our attention to the fire—a lot of damage could have been done. I am grateful to live in such a wonderful caring community; my girls are home safe.
