Jazz Camp

Columbia Falls will hold its annual Jazz camp for students from 9 a.m. to noon July 11-15 at the high school. There are two separate sections. One for musicians in grades 7-9 and one for musicians grades 10-12. There is a concert Thursday night. Cost is $50 and includes instruction in improvisation and sectionals. Driver's ed

Columbia Falls summer driver's education runs from July 5 through July 31. Sign up with Robin White at the high school. Cost is $180 for vehicle, materials and permit. Call 892-6500 extension 0 for more information.

Concert series

Columbia Falls summer concert series starts tonight (June 23) at Marantette Park with concerts every Thursday thereafter until Aug. 11. Cost is $3 each or $5 a family. This week's concert features the Don Lawrence Orchestra. Next week is a tribute to his brother, Paul Lawrence. Concerts start at 8 p.m.

North Fork meeting

The North Fork Interlocal meeting is scheduled for 6: 30 p.m. July 13 at Sondreson Hall.

Shrine circus

The Shrine Circus will be at the Flathead County Fairgrounds at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. June 28. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4 for children. Seniors are $5. Proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospital. Tickets are available at Glacier bank, Smith's, Super One and Columbia Falls Senior Center.

Sports camp

The North Valley Baptist Church on Talbott Road will hold a sports camp from 9 a.m. to noon from June 27-30. Call 892-3141 for more information. Camp is open for grades first through sixth.

Board member

The Board of Trustees of School District Six is seeking someone interested in serving on the Board. The person will serve from the time of appointment through the seating of trustees after the May 2006 election. Interested parties must be residents of School District Six and registered voters.
