Hill side home a scar in landscape

After reading the article on Tom Thomas in the Pilot last week, I was amazed that anyone could violate the Montana landowner's ethic so badly.

It figures it would take an out-of-state transplant to open a scar so ugly it can be seen from Lion Mountain and beyond. Later, I noticed the large billboard prominently featuring Mr. Thomas as a Realtor and wondered what other Realtors think of what Mr. Thomas has done and represents?

The billboard asks us to envision our dream. Apparently Tom Thomas' dream is a large mudslide. Meanwhile, he whines that neighbors affected by his violations of good neighbor ethics and possibly environmental laws should simply be quiet.

Sorry, Tom, this is not what we consider good land stewardship or good neighborhood relations in Montana.
