recent tourneys

The Columbia Falls junior golf team performed well at two recent tournaments.

On July 20 in Polson, Reed Platke shot a 94 in the 12-13 year old division, while Austin Barth shot a 113 and Derek Hader shot a 120.

At the Mission Valley Golf Course in Ronan on Monday, Taylor Martinson shot a 50 to take first place in the 11 and under division, while Garrett Houston shot a 65 and took second.

Reed Platke dominated and won the 12-13 year old division with an 80, while Tanner Lineberry shot a 106.

The next Flathead Valley Junior Golf Tour tournament will be next Monday at Eagle Bend.
