The Whitefish 12-year-old All-Star team is off to an exciting season, being undefeated and winning two local tournaments.

Columbia Falls hosted the Dick Lindsley Tournament, and the Whitefish team won the championship game against Libby.

The following weekend, the team fought hard against Columbia Falls (6-1) in the opening game of the Jack Zerr Tournament at the Smith Field Complex.

They followed with a win against the Kalispell's 12-year-olds in a pitching duel, winning 1-0.

Whitefish continued their streak by winning easily over Eureka (11-1).

The championship game was a crowd pleaser, with great pitching, timely hits and the ultimate nail-biter 2-1 Whitefish win.

Team members include Will Beasley, Klyer Blades, Joe Blakemore, Quintyn Menigazi, Keaton Morrison, Jeremy Nielsen, Dylan Parr, Mac Roche, Carl Talsma, Ben Tucker and Conner Watterud.

Coaching staff includes Bill Roche, Kent Morrison, Dan Blakemore and Kurt Blades.
