To the editor:
The real purpose of the "Public School System" has been forgotten.
First, master the basic stepping stones for real knowledge. Reading, writing, arithmetic, science, history, and research are required as a broad based foundation, then branch out into other areas. A knowledgeable student prepared for higher learning should be the end goal! That's "Quality Education."
We are on the same old merry-go-round where money is thrown at education, and the same flawed product comes out the other end.
Now tell me, who really needs to be educated?
If at first you don't succeed, do the same thing over and over again. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
