Dennis Brooks

Dennis Wesley Brooks, 40, of Everett, Wash., ended his journey in the rushing waters of McDonald Creek in Glacier National Park on Nov. 21, 2005.

He was born April 24, 1965, in Whitefish, to Delmus D. Brooks and Snoma (Rosemary) Marple.

He had a passion for living life to its fullest, along with his love for the woods and Mother Nature. He was avid in all his endeavors of whatever he chose to do in life. His work took him to many places and his life touched many people.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Eulalie Brooks, and his grandmother, Clara Marple.

Dennis leaves behind the love of his life and wife of five years, Anne, and daughters Kiela and Tia; his father, Delmus Brooks, of Columbia Falls; his mother, Snoma (Rosemary) Meagher, and step father Corky Meagher, of Whitefish; sisters Genny Hemterly, of Whitefish, and Denise Willis and husband, Cliff, of Hungry Horse; nephew Justin Lugo, of Hungry Horse; brother Delmus Brooks Jr., of Kalispell; step brothers Shawn Meagher and Kim Spudt; and nieces, nephews and many friends in Montana and Washington.

A memorial service was held Nov. 26, 2005, at the Canyon Community Church in Coram.
