Swim team takes third at divisionals
The Columbia Falls swim team took third at divisionals last weekend in Conrad and looks to do well at the state meet in Fort Benton.
Zak Ward and Alan Newton took high-point trophies in their age groups, and the intermediate boys freestyle and medley relay teams captured first place.
Alex Bartkoski captured first place in the midget 100 meter individual medley and 50 meter breaststroke events, and Brea Ward captured first place in the 50 meter backstroke.
Zak Ward cleaned house in the senior boys division, taking first place in the 50 and 100 meter freestyle, and 100 meter butterfly events. Alan Newton did equally as well in the intermediate division, taking first in the 200 individual medley, 100 meter breast, and 100 meter backstroke events.
