Amazing murals

| July 14, 2004 11:00 PM

Artists Clark Heyler and Maria Vekkos have put the finishing touches on another mural on Columbia Falls on the Masonic Temple.

We'd just like to say it looks fantastic.

The mural, along with another mural on the south side of the building, really make Nucleus Avenue a much more attractive place.

The $3,500 cost of the mural was raised through private donations through the Columbia Falls Historical Preservation Society and the Columbia Falls Community Foundation. We'd like to thank those organizations for the efforts and to support them in future projects.

This community needs to embrace more works like the mural project—projects that make Columbia Falls an aesthetically pleasing place at a nominal cost.

If you haven't driven up Nucleus lately, we urge you to do so. The murals are worth the trip.
