Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation racers were on the road at Big Sky Resort over the weekend competing at the Northern Division Tech Qualifier on Jan. 3-5.

The U16 – U19 competitors enjoyed perfect snow conditions for racing despite the cold, windy weather. FVSEF Skiers found success in all three races, with the U19 boys dominating the top five spots all three days.

The Big Sky races were part of the nationwide U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association Series within the Northern Division of USSA. The Northern Division includes all of Montana and parts of Wyoming and South Dakota. The events were qualifying races for Regional Championships to be held in March.
