Players earn postseason honors

With a state championship and a semifinals appearance, Whitefish soccer had a successful fall on the pitch.

A number of players on both the boys and girls teams earned All Conference and All State selections for their play this season.

For the boys, Sam Menicke, Casey Schneider, Ian Lacey, Ian Grover, Brandon Mendoza, Josh Gunderson and Joseph Houston all earned All-State selections in addition to All Conference. Gabe Menicke was also named All Conference first team, while Chase Sabin, Marvin Kimera and Colter Upton earned second team. James Thompson earned honorable mention.

For the girls, Anna Cook, Josie Schneider, Emma Barron and Sophie Olson all earned All State and first team All Conference.

Sami Galbraith earned first team All Conference as well, while Adrienne Healy, Grace Benkelman, Josephine Brown and Mary Peterson earned second team.
