Lady Dogs prepare for Loggers on Thursday

The Lady Dogs had a tough go at the Northwest A/Southwest A Tip-Off Tournament in Butte over the weekend.

Whitefish collected a handful of close games at the tournament, but just one outright win.

The team won against Hamilton and split matches with Stevensville, Frenchtown and Butte Central, and lost to Dillon, Beaverhead County and Frenchtown during the tournament.

While the tournament is a chance to try different things out, the Lady Dogs will get their first real test this week when they host Libby on Thursday. That game will start around 7 p.m. at Whitefish High School.
