Ronan no problem for Lady Dogs

The Ronan Maidens were no problem for the Lady Dogs during homecoming week.

Whitefish dominated all three sets against Ronan Thursday, keeping them to single digits twice in the 25-7, 25-9, 25-13 win.

Marlee Bender led the way at the net with a dozen kills, while Lauren Schulz recorded 17 assists and three service aces.

Bender also had six blocks. Mikenna Ells and Kennedy Grove combined for 15 of the teams 32 digs.

This week the Lady Dogs traveled to Columbia Falls for a rivalry matchup with the Wildkats Tuesday after presstime.

On Saturday they’ll host some Bitterroot competition, taking on Corvallis at 1 p.m. and Hamilton at 6 p.m.
