Lavonne (Vonnie) Elizabeth Grenz peacefully passed away into her Fatherís heavenly arms at her home in Stevensville, Montana, on June 21, 2019, at the age of 77, surrounded by her beloved husband and sons.

Vonnie was born in Center, North Dakota, daughter of the late Julia and Bill Ganten, although after her fatherís death she was placed in the Childrenís Village Orphanage in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 15, where she met the love of her life, Jerry Samuel Grenz. They were married Dec. 28, 1960. Vonnie is survived by her husband, Jerry Samuel Grenz, three sons, Sammy (Robin) Grenz, William (Gail) Grenz and Curtis (Cindy) Grenz, sisters Agnus Hoff, Aldora (Les) Linssen, Shirley Zumpf, three brothers, Billy Ganten, Louis Roggensack and Richard Roggensack, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Julia and Bill Ganten.

There was a celebration of life with the immediate family the evening of June 21, 2019.
