Photos: Whitefish High School orchestra and band concert

Whitefish High School orchestra and band students combined for a spectacular performance to close out the 2024-25 school year at the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, June 3.  

Orchestra played “Fugue and Nocturne” by Norman Leyden, “Orange Jam,” “Starlight by Muse,” and music from Disney’s "Brave." The symphony orchestra played “March to the Scaffold” by Hector Berlioz and a medley from the "Sound of Music."  

Concert band played “Byzantine Dances” and “A Disney Spectacular.” Chamber winds performed “The Storyteller” with the spotlight on Yaphet Jones on trumpet, Chloe Cheff on violin, and Peggy Young on harp. Wind ensemble performed “Rhapsody in Blue” with Tristan Shoff having a grand piano solo.
