The Making Place hosts storytelling event

The Making Place, in collaboration with White Raven Winery and Flathead Story Concerts, hosts Storytelling Night June 14 from 6-9 p.m. at White Raven Winery.   

Storytelling Night is more than just an evening out — it’s an experience that brings people together through the art of live, true storytelling. Guests will hear local storytellers share memorable tales while enjoying the beautiful ambiance, wine and food offered by White Raven.  

Inspired by “The Moth Radio Hour” and PBS’s “Stories from the Stage,” Flathead Story Concerts aims to bring live storytelling to the Flathead Valley.  

The live stories curated for this event have been workshopped by Barbara and Glenn Schiffman, story coaches of Flathead Story Concerts. 

“Hearing a well-told tale, that’s memorable and engaging, is like listening to music,” said Barbara Schiffman. 

Attendees may take a complimentary winery tour between 3 and 5:30 p.m., for an inside look at White Raven Winery’s locally crafted wines before settling in for an evening of storytelling, laughter and community.
