Stumptown Get Down: Concert to benefit warming center
QLTD Audio in collaboration with Vigilante Provisions and local support from Analog Armada is hosting “Stumptown Get Down,” featuring national touring artists Moontricks and DJ Epik.
The concert is June 21 from 5 -10 p.m. at Whitefish Depot Park and is a fundraiser for Flathead Warming Center in Kalispell, a nonprofit that provides shelter, showers, laundry, light food and onsite resources.
Moontricks, based in the Kootenay Mountains of Western Canada, is a nationally renowned electro-folk duo whose sound is steeped in tradition and polished with a futuristic sheen, mixing organic folk, roots rock and old-time blues with modern electronic production.
DJ Epik, from Sacramento, California, is a DJ, producer and self-proclaimed vinyl junkie. He plays tunes ranging from funk and hip-hop to Latin, boogie and soul, a mix guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving with feel-good vibes.
Locals Analog Armada is a DJ and drummer duo based out of Whitefish. The combination of digital tracks and organic percussion provides a dynamic sound.
Food trucks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and numerous community resources will accompany the concert.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and empty water bottles to the event. Dogs are not permitted in the park during the event, so please leave your four-legged friends at home.
The concert has a limited number of presale tickets available now at $32. The price is $45 after presale tickets sell out and on the day of the event. Children 8 years old and younger have free admission. Purchase tickets at FlatheadTickets.com.
