Second Street closures next week
A road closure map released by the City of Whitefish.
The City of Whitefish has contracted with Nelcon, Inc. to complete an asphalt overlay and minor sidewalk improvements along East Second Street, from Spokane Avenue to Somers Avenue.
On Monday, July 7, through Wednesday, July 9, work on the sidewalks will occur and Kalispell Avenue will be closed at the Second Street intersection.
Thursday and Friday, July 10-11, asphalt milling and paving is scheduled. East Second Street will be closed to through traffic between Somers and Spokane avenues.
No work or closures are planned for the weekend, July 12-13.
On Monday and Tuesday, July 14-15, road and sidewalk work will continue. The same area of East Second Street, in addition to Kalispell Avenue where it intersects East Second Street, will be closed to through traffic.
