Women’s philanthropy organization awards scholarship to Kaitleen To
Whitefish’s Chapter D of the Women’s Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.) is proud to announce that Whitefish High School senior Kaitleen Anne To has been selected as a recipient of its $1,300 P.E.O. Local Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The P.E.O. Local Scholarship recognizes the accomplishments of graduating women planning to pursue post-secondary education based on the following merits: leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community/volunteer service and potential for future success.
To is an accomplished student who has challenged herself by completing extensive AP coursework and earning a spot on the National Honor Society. She holds several jobs and is a frequent volunteer at various local marathon events. She also assists with the Backpack Assistance Program to ensure that students have food when they are not in school. Kaitleen is currently attending Flathead Valley Community College and is planning to continue her education to achieve her goal of becoming a radiologist.
