Tremendous turnout at 13th Whitefish Woody Weekend

| July 2, 2025 1:00 AM

Thank you, Flathead Valley, for helping to make Whitefish Woody Weekend XIII a huge success. It was a great show with 43 beautiful classic boats from all over the Pacific Northwest, Nevada and Arizona, 18 of which were new to Whitefish Woody Weekend. These boats represented 18 different manufacturers and 5 different chapters of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. Twenty-four of the 45 participants came to the show from outside the Flathead Valley.

On behalf of all the boat captains, thank you to the over 1700 dock-walkers who enjoyed the great weather and came out and supported the event on Saturday. It means a lot to the boat owners to see the tremendous turnout.

The People's Choice was awarded to Miss St. Lawrence, a 1922 Cupernall Runabout owned by Joe and Marie Frauenheim of Issaquah, WA. The Captain's Choice Award, voted on by the boat owners, went to Comet, a 2025 self-built runabout, owned by Ike Keilgass and Brenda Chrystie of Renton, WA. The Commodore's Award was given to Shawn and Christina Isakson of Whitefish with their boat, Empress, a 1992 Hackercraft Runabout. The Chris Craft Antique Boat Club awarded the Stewardship award to Beautiful Day, a 1948 Chris Craft Custom, owned by Ron Stevenson and Elizabeth Gregory of Mercer Island, WA.

Finally, we would like to thank The Lodge at Whitefish Lake and their wonderful staff for being great hosts of the event. The Lodge treated the boat owners to that great Whitefish hospitality and once again demonstrated their commitment to community events.

Hope to see you all again at next year's event on June 26-28 2026, for Whitefish Woody Weekend XIV.
