Brady R. Fleming, 45

| January 29, 2025 12:00 AM

Brady Fleming stepped out of his home on Dec. 15, 2024, and fell down the stairs, suffering a cardiac arrest. He was airlifted to Billings but never regained consciousness and was removed from life support on Dec. 19, 2024. Who would ever imagine this at 45 years old.

He was born in Portland, Oregon on March 13, 1979. He moved with his family to Whitefish, in September 1984. He graduated from Whitefish High School and later from the Cordon Bleu culinary school in Portland, Oregon. He worked in several restaurants in Whitefish and operated the North Fork Grille at the Meadow Lake Restaurant in Columbia Falls for a few years.

He spent a good amount of time whitewater rafting, skiing, fly fishing, back country hiking and golfing. He enjoyed travel and had been to all fifty states. Brady also read a great deal, enjoying military history, biographies and food related books.

He is survived by his parents, Rick and Kim Fleming, sisters, Emmylou Abrahamson and Laurie Palo, brother, Patrick Fleming, Mike and Cheryl Roediger of Libby, and Scott and Delsey Howard of Newport, Oregon. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The tremendous outpouring of support from his lifelong friends has been a blessing to our family.

There will be a celebration of his life in late spring, to be announced.
