Polson wasted no time putting Monday’s game out of reach, scoring 11 runs in the first inning and cruising to a 19-0 win over Whitefish in three innings.

The Lady Pirates improved to 5-0-1 on the season with the blowout road victory, combining an explosive offense with a shutdown performance in the circle.

Polson tallied 12 hits and drew several walks to fuel a scoring onslaught that included an 11-run first, followed by four-run frames in the second and third innings. Every batter in the lineup reached base at least once, with eight different players recording a hit.

Emma Smith led the offensive barrage with a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the plate, including a double and four RBIs. Jaja Nichols went 2-for-2 and also drove in a run, while Sierra Perez finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Olivia Jore knocked in four runs and had a 1-for-2 day at the plate. Liz Cunningham added two RBIs, and Sam Rensvold contributed a double and an RBI.

Madison Turner got the start in the circle and was dominant across three innings of work. She allowed just one hit while striking out five and didn’t issue a walk.

Whitefish struggled to generate any offense against Turner, managing a lone hit while committing no errors defensively.
