Police Calls: Hoodie wearing man tries wrong door

The police calls section does not reflect the nature or the volume of the calls received by local law enforcement.

March 29

The caller said it looked like someone drove into the concrete barrier and into an air conditioning unit on Baker Avenue.

Law enforcement received an online report with photos of the neighbor’s dogs defecating on other people’s private property on Shiloh Avenue. The HOA has been contacted.

Revelers said they would turn the bass down at an event on Central Avenue after a noise complaint.

A male in a baggy jacket and blue beanie fell at a restaurant on Wisconsin Avenue. He proceeded to knock on the caller’s door and other doors around the neighborhood but did not seem aggressive.

Extra patrols were requested for Baker Avenue and for Fairway Drive.

Reportedly, a male hit a female at a location on Third Street.

Someone was trying to phone a friend and accidentally dialed 911.

The caller yelled at someone who was using a door of a Central Avenue business only to have his finger slammed in the door by the grey hoodie-wearing man.

Security cameras at a business on Central Avenue show someone trying to get in through the back door.

March 30

The manager of a location on Colorado Avenue asked a police officer to tell a tenant that it is not safe for her to smoke while she is on oxygen.

A woman’s keys were returned to her when she proved she was not intoxicated.

It was suspicious when a man from a trip to find his truck crashed and re-parked at his house.

The caller, who was stopped by police the night before, was looking for his phone and his backpack somewhere downtown. He thought an officer may have grabbed the phone.

March 31

The driver of a black SUV on Highway 93 was seen driving slowly, then speeding up and braking hard. The driver was swerving and seemed as if he was trying to get the caller to hit him.

A caller thought the red pickup truck that would sit idling on Ashar Avenue and had been parked behind an apartment building for about a week was suspicious.
