Great Whitefish Gingerbread Contest to benefit affordable housing

The Great Whitefish Gingerbread House Contest returns for the fourth time with all entry fees and donations being matched dollar-for-dollar by Century 21 Deaton and Company Real Estate. The money raised will be given directly to Housing Whitefish. 

There will be two divisions, one for adults and one for kids under 12. Winners will be selected in three categories for both divisions: most Whitefish, most technical and most creative.  

Voting and viewing, followed by winner announcements, take place Dec. 13, during the Whitefish Christmas Stroll. Gingerbread entries will be located at the Century 21 contest booth on Central Avenue from 5:15 p.m. until about 7:30 p.m. 

The deadline to register is Dec. 3, and all entries must be delivered by 6 p.m. on Dec. 12.
