Police Calls: Famous woman annoyed, UFO sighting

Feb. 10

8:44 p.m. The manager of the property on Wisconsin Avenue reported four unauthorized juveniles were in the pool.

9:31 p.m. A busy mom was driving with her kids and accidentally dialed 911.

5:36 a.m. Police checked out the scene for two women who got spooked when they heard knocking at the door.

Feb. 11

2:02 p.m. There was some minor damage to the front of the caller’s vehicle after a hit and run on Baker Avenue.

3:35 p.m. A snowboard that was propped up against a building on Baker Avenue was reported stolen.

Feb. 12

12:55 p.m. A male was reported riding a bicycle down the middle of Highway 93.

3:59 p.m. A male and a female were physically fighting in a parking lot on Hospital Way.

11:04 p.m. The man said he dropped his phone in the hot tub and it accidentally dialed 911.

3:43 a.m. A vehicle on Somers Avenue got stickered for a fire hydrant parking violation.

Feb. 13

1:34 p.m. There is an ongoing issue with vehicles speeding on Prairie Smoke Circle.

4:20 p.m. Someone on Wisconsin Avenue believes his neighbor vandalized his vehicle.

5:29 p.m. He called for help from the police after he locked his keys in his Nissan while it was running.

9:09 p.m. The person sleeping behind a business on Spokane Avenue was advised of the city ordinance and moved along.

Feb. 14

9:52 a.m. The caller had questions regarding chicken ordinances.

12:00 p.m. The caller says a gutter company has set up shop in the middle of the road on Dakota Avenue. He added that there is a truck and trailer with equipment all over and people can barely get around them.

5:35 p.m. Police helped unlock a Dodge that had been locked with the owner’s dog inside.

7:05 p.m. A caller on State Park Road reported seeing two, stationary bright lights at different altitudes and said they were too low to be satellites.

Feb. 16

9:54 a.m. A box full of broken glass jars was in the road on Spokane Avenue.

10:22 a.m. According to the property manager of the vacation rental on Suncrest Drive, a renter took a snow blower, a leaf blower and two blankets.

4:47 p.m. A navy blue SUV was reported for following close behind another vehicle, swerving and almost driving off the Big Mountain Road.

Feb. 17

6:49 a.m. Two males sitting in a dark blue Suburban on Woodland Star Circle raised suspicions because they claimed to be private security but refused to show identification.

7:32 a.m. Some women took a detour through a ditch on Murdock Lane. There was no damage and they had help on the way.

12:53 p.m. A person who had shoplifted in the past was in the store on Highway 93 again. This time, it was unknown whether she was stealing again today.

12:41 a.m. The caller, who had been drinking, was upset that a female was talking to her husband outside on Central Avenue. She said the female would not stop following her around and that she was being filmed against her will. The caller went on to say she was very famous and shouldn't be treated like this. Both parties were advised to leave one another alone and go their separate ways.

1:14 a.m. A woman who had been drinking recorded another woman and her partner joking about drinking and driving. She followed them and thinks they got in a white sedan but isn’t sure.
