On Oct. 6, The Walking Man Gallery in Whitefish will be featuring the collection of works by True Archdale, a Wolf Point, Montana native. This exhibit will be the final show for the summer season in the celebrated Whitefish Gallery Nights.

True Archdale: The Cosmic Dance, showcases her expressive multimedia work that uses improvised lines with bold colors that reference both abstract art and design elements of her Assiniboine culture.

More than twenty pieces will be highlighted in this exhibit. Begun in 2017, these works are described by Archdale as, “the expression of ideas and lines that started forming in my mind in the 80s and over time have emerged to form a unique visual language.”

“This work comes together freely without preconception and I invite you to explore on this visual journey,” Archdale said.

After spending three decades in Los Angeles, Archdale has returned to her home state of Montana and this will be her first local exhibit. For more information on the show visit The Walking Man Frame Shop & Gallery. To see more examples of True’s work visit truearchdale.com.
