No. 2652 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The City of Whitefish Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: A permit request by Breanne Cline, Morrison Maierle Inc., on behalf of Perl Family Trust, D & S, for a floodplain development permit for the installation of a dynamic gravel beach consisting of 146 cubic yards of native gravel material as well as retaining wall & stone step repair along the shoreline of Whitefish Lake below the high water elevation of 3000.79 within the 100-year floodplain of Whitefish Lake. The property is located at 298 Skyles Place, Whitefish, MT 59937 and can be legally described as Lot 002 of the 1st Addition to Whitefish Townsite Company Five Acre Tracts Subdivision SW 1/4, S25, T31N R22W. The complete applications may be reviewed at the Whitefish Planning and Building Department at 418 E. 2nd Street. Comments should be received by Thursday, August 4, 2022. In the event of substantial comment or protest to the issuance of the permit, the Floodplain Administrator may hold a public hearing to determine whether the permits shall be issued.
