Swim team competes in Great Falls Relays over the weekend

The Whitefish swim team headed to Great Falls last weekend to compete in the Great Falls Relays meet.

Relay teams on both the boys and girls sides competed in the meet, which included Class AA, A and B teams. It was also a chance to compete in Great Falls where the All-Class State meet will be held in February.

Whitefish’s best result was fifth place in the boys 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:00.09. The Bulldogs also took sixth in the boys 200 yard backstroke relay and seventh in the boys 200 medley relay.

The Whitefish girls best result was in the 400 yard freestyle relay — the Bulldogs took eighth place in 4:38.19. The girls also took ninth place in the 200 freestyle relay.

That wraps up swim meets for 2022. The Bulldogs will be back in action after winter break at the Polson Invite on Jan. 6.
