Bulldogs come up big with 30-0 win over Butte Central

Bullied by its defense, the Bulldogs shut out Butte Central Friday night in a 30-0 win.

After being delayed due to lightning, the Bulldog offense recorded a total of 327 yards on the field with 197 coming from rushing yards.

Quarterback Fynn Ridgeway threw for 170 yards. In the first quarter, he found Jaxsen Schlauch for a 16-yard touchdown to put the Bulldogs on the board.

Schlauch would record four catches and 59 yards in the game.

Both teams remained scoreless in the second quarter.

Following halftime, Logan Conklin had a fumble recovery taking the ball 45 yards for a touchdown.

In the fourth quarter, Cody Berry had an 18-yard scoring run for the Bulldogs. He rushed for a total of 129 yards. Decker Wold had a 38-yard rushing touchdown to add to the Bulldogs score in the fourth quarter.

Ryder Barinowski kicked extra points for the Bulldogs in the first, third and fourth quarters, and completed a 25-yard field goal in the third quarter.

Ridgeway had a pick on defense, as did Jack Akey.

The Bulldogs face Stevensville this week on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Dawg Pound.
