Bulldog volleyball falls to Libby

The Bulldog volleyball team came up short in its first match of the season against the Loggers in Libby last week.

The teams battled through five sets with the Loggers ultimately earning the win.

The Bulldogs outscored the Loggers in the opening set 25-21 and again in the third set, 25-18, but were just unable to come up with the win.

Whitefish’s Brook Smith had a match-high 16 kills.

On assists, the Bulldogs were lead by Jenny Patten with 13, followed closely by Mikenna Ells with 12.

Whitefish was set to travel to Polson on Tuesday after press time.
