City Council meets May 18

Whitefish City Council meets on Monday, May 18 at 7:10 p.m. electronically through WebEx.

The city encourages individuals who wish to provide public comment; submit a letter to the City Clerk, Michelle Howke at mhowke@cityofwhitefish.org. or deliver a letter to City Hall in the Utility Drop Box. Written comments should provide name, address, and should be short and concise; courteous and polite. Comments received by 5 p.m. on May 18 will be provided to Council.

The following agenda items will be discussed, subject to change:

• Consideration of appointing Ben Davis to fill an open seat on Council following the resignation of Councilor Melissa Hartman.

• Consideration of a request from Ronnie and Sharon Kyle for a conditional use permit to develop a 52-unit condominium project at 1515 Highway 93 West.

• An ordinance amending the city’s motor vehicle and traffic regulations.

• Consideration of a resolution supporting the Flathead County Board of Commissioners to refer to the Flathead Communications Center special district to a vote.
