Chamber sets up group for restaurant information
The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce has created a Facebook group called “Flathead Eateries” as a way to promote all of the members of the food industry in the Flathead Valley.
“Every industry will be touched by the COVID-19 crisis, in some form, but perhaps none more immediately than our local bars and restaurants,” says Melissa Ellis with the chamber. “We still need to eat during this time, and restaurants need the business more than ever.”
While some restaurants have closed their doors for a period of time, others are modifying menus, instituting online/phone ordering along with providing new delivery options in addition to curbside pickup.
The purpose of the Facebook group is to allow all Flathead County restaurant owners and consumers one central location to promote current specials, promotions, delivery and pickup options along with hours of operation.
