City department helpful

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank the Whitefish Building Department for their professionalism, helpfulness and courtesy in helping us through our recent building project here in Whitefish.

As owners and inexperienced builder/contractors my wife and I had some trepidation about how we would be treated by the building officials as we went through the long, complicated project of constructing our own home from the foundation up with little previous experience.

It was evident pretty quickly that we had nothing to worry about. We found Tad, Major and Phil easy to talk with, easy to ask questions of and they seemed supportive of our work. Behind the counter at City Hall Dabney was always more than helpful, able to get any info we needed, always with a smile.

As residents of Whitefish I think we are extremely lucky to have folks like this on our side.
