Qunell has passion for service

Print Article

I support Steve Qunell for City Council. As a long time resident, school teacher and active citizen of our community, I’ve watched Steve volunteer countless hours on various boards and committees including the Planning Board, Lakeshore Protection Committee, Board of Adjustment, Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the Whitefish Lake Institute and others.

For the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of sitting beside Steve in his tenure as chair of the Planning Board. He is an intelligent, experienced and thoughtful candidate who always keeps the community’s best interest in mind. He understands how Whitefish has grown and changed over the past 20 years and the importance of finding balance between our town’s rapid development and preservation of Whitefish’s working-class roots.

Experience matters. Passion for service matters. Steve has both and will work diligently for this community. Vote Qunell for City Council.
