During the meeting, the Board will hold a public hearing on the items listed below. Upon receipt of the recommendation from the Planning Board, the Whitefish City Council will hold a subsequent public hearing for items 1-2 on January 7, 2019 and items 3-5 on Tuesday, January 22, 2018. A request by 95 Karrow LLC for a Planned Unit Development amendment to add 'clubs, private and semi-private recreational facilities' to the list of permitted uses within the 95 Karrow project (Ord. No. 18-01). The property is partially developed with a warehouse and is zoned WT-3/WI-T/WPUD. The property is located at 95 Karrow Avenue and can be legally described as Tract 1, COS 9540 in S 35 & 36, T31N, R22W P.M.M., Flathead County. (WPUD 18-08) Compton-Ring A request by Homeword for a Planned Unit Development to develop a 38-unit affordable rental housing project. The property is undeveloped and is zoned WR-4 (High Density Residential District). The property is located at 524 & 530 Edgewood Place and can be legally described as north half of Lot 4, Lots 5 & 6, Block 9, Whitefish Townsite Company 5 Acre Tracts First Addition in Section 25, Townsite 31 North Range 22 West P.M.M., Flathead County. (WPUD 18-07) Compton-Ring A request by Aaron McPherson for a Conditional Use Permit to convert an existing detached garage into a guesthouse. The property is currently developed with a residential structure and is zoned WLR (One-Family Limited Residential District). The property is located at 220 Peregrine Lane and can be legally described as Lot 6 of Gyrfalcon Estates Subdivision in S32, T31N, R21W P.M.M., Flathead County. (WCUP 18-13) Minnich A request by Bald Eagle LLC and Nicole Erickson, with technical assistance from Montana Creative, for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a mixed-use building with a winery on the 1st floor and three (3) residential units on the 2nd floor. The property is currently developed with a commercial structure and is zoned WB-3 (General Business District). The property is located at 20 Spokane Avenue and can be legally described as Lots 6 & 7 in Block 28 of Whitefish Subdivision in S36, T31N, R22W P.M.M., Flathead County. (WCUP 18-14) Minnich A request by James Dodkin, with technical assistance from BCD Engineering, to subdivide a property into two parcels. The subject property is currently vacant and is zoned WCR (Country Residential District). The property is located at 441 Armory Road and can be legally described as Tract 3F in Section 32 and Tract 5F in Section 33, Township 31N, Range 21W. No. 2460 BUDGET AMENDMENT RESOLUTION SCHOOL DISTRICT 44, FLATHEAD COUNTY At a regular meeting of the board of trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, held November 13, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Whitefish School District Board Room, the following resolution was introduced: WHEREAS, the trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, have made a determination that as a result of the need to address deferred maintenance items including replacement equipment, additional lockers, mower, lift, security equipment, classroom and foyer safety, interior lighting upgrades, intercom system upgrade, parking lot maintenance, drinking fountain retrofit, carpet replacement, ADA pathways, roof repairs, gym floor refinishing, interior painting, and other items; snow removal from the Muldown roof; and educational functions of the district including curtains and videography system for black box theater, portable stage, furniture upgrades, student information system upgrades, classroom technology, and school board communication, the district's budgets for the Elementary and High School General Funds do not provide sufficient financing to properly maintain and support the district for the entire current school fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the trustees have determined that amendments to the Elementary General Fund budget in the amount of $700,000 and the High School General Fund budget in the amount of $400,000 is necessary under the provision of Section 20-9-161 (6), MCA; for the purpose of addressing the safety of students and staff and the educational functions of the district. WHEREAS, the anticipated source of financing the budget amendment expenditures shall be Elementary and High School General Fund Reserves; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, proclaims a need for amendments to the Elementary General Fund budget in the amount of $700,000 and the High School General Fund in the amount of $400,000 for fiscal year 2018 under Section 20-9-161 (6), MCA, for the purpose identified above, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, will meet at 7 p.m. at the Whitefish School District Board Room on December 11, 2018 for the purpose of considering and adopting the budget amendment.
